I am an attorney at Fitzwater Meyer Hollis & Marmion, LLP. My practice emphasizes estate and tax planning and estate administration, including the preparation of wills and trusts, gift and estate tax planning and the administration of trusts and probate estates upon death.
Estate planning and administration is the only area of law out there for me. I cannot think of any area in which I would rather practice. Over the years I have discovered that my job often consists of 1/3 teaching, 1/3 counseling and 1/3 lawyering. I feel especially lucky to have found a career that blends all of my passions into one.
I pride myself on being approachable, down to earth and willing to answer any questions my clients may have. I invest myself in learning about my client’s whole story which often allows us to develop a friendship and enables me to represent them more effectively. It is important to me that my clients know that I am on their side.
I am a Portland native, and graduate of Jesuit High School. I obtained a B.A. from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and received my J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in Eugene, Oregon, where I successfully completed the requirements to earn a Statement of Completion in the area of Tax Law. Before graduating from law school, I served as a law clerk in the office of the Washington Attorney General.
In my free time, I enjoy singing with the Oregon Repertory Singers and spending time with my husband, dog, and three young sons.
“Everyone at FMHM is real and down to earth. We all enjoy the work we do and also maintain active lives outside of work.”
